My Clean Beauty Makeup For My Wedding

As most of my friends and coworkers can tell you, I don’t really wear make up. It has taken me almost 5 years to get to a place where I have felt confident not to wear make up to work everyday. I have witnessed a significant difference in my skin and confidence in my body. Now occasionally, I will wear coverup under my eyes to hide my dark circles or mascara to give my lashes some color and volume but otherwise I like to keep things natural.

As I approach my wedding, I have come to the understanding that I can’t looking my absolute best without some help. So I have heard of ILIA from a couple influencers I have followed on Instagram. When given the opportunity at a vendor event, I thought I would finally give it a try. It is a Clean Beauty brand and carries natural, pure colors that give you that glowing look.

I was able to try all the products at BlueMercury. They matched my foundation color, blush and lip shade. It was actually an exciting process. The foundation felt light, not sticky/oily, on my skin. Everything blended smoothly and gave me great color – something I want for my big day!
